Hello. I’m Robert Meneses and I want to thank you for being part of the Los Angeles County Hispanic Managers Association (LACHMA). It is through you, our members, that we serve the Hispanic community and various County departments. As your President for the past eight years, the LACHMA Board of Directors and you have done an outstanding job of providing outstanding services to our residents of Los Angeles County. Further, we have provided thousands of dollars in scholarships so that the youth in our community may attend college and we have fed hundreds of families during the Thanksgiving season. We have also contributed to a women’s homeless shelter. In the process, we have also provided Spring, Summer and Holiday Mixers for our members so that they can network with other professional in the County. I am humbled to be your President and it has been my pleasure to serve as your President. I look forward to another tremendous year. The LACHMA Board of Directors is strong and committed and will continue to provide me with the guidance necessary to meet your needs and represent your interest.
I have been told by many County employees that they did not know LACHMA existed. I will work with the Board to ensure we reach out and become known to all County employees. Remember, LACHMA’s mission (in part) is to promote the development and implementation of county programs which improve the delivery of county services to the Hispanic community and enhance county government through the development and advancement of Hispanic county employees. Please note that LACHMA welcomes all County employees (you don’t have to be Hispanic and you don’t have to be a manager).
Please don’t forget to spread the word about LACHMA. We gain more prominence and exposure by having individuals like you join and participate in our events. The larger we become, the stronger we become!

- Dolores Mission Thanksgiving Dinner giveaways
- Membership Mixers
- Workshops for our members
